Playgym
Introduce your child to the gym environment, have fun with your toddler using the mats, allow your older gymnast to get in some extra practice, let your children let off some steam on a rainy day, meet up with other gym parents, watch what your gymnast has learned, sit and have a cuppa... just some of the reasons parents bring their children to the play gym.
Our very popular play gym attracts children of all ages and abilities. In order to keep the gym safe for all, we ask that you follow a few rules
- Adults are responsible for their own children at all times, and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
- Please ensure that your child is working/ playing within the limits of their own abilities
- No food, drinks or shoes allowed in the gym. Please use the tables in the waiting area for refreshments
- Long hair should be tied back, and no jewellery should be worn by gymnasts
- Adults are not to use the equipment
- Only 1 person on the trampoline at a time, and no adults to use it
- No playing in the foam pit, and please do not pick at the foam. The pit is a landing zone only
- No ball games in the gym
- Please do not throw the equipment
- Report all accidents to the staff
- RESPECT BIG SKILLS- please ensure that smaller children do not run in front of gymnasts that are attempting tumbling passes, swinging on the bars, vaulting or dismounting the beam. This is to keep everyone safe.
Play Gym is open Sunday's from 9am- 11am.
